What is YOUHOMEY?

YOUHOMEY is a startup that was born in Madrid. We are dedicated to seasonal accommodation for executives and embassy staff for periods between 1 and 6 months. To offer a quality service we take care of the properties in which we host our clients, so that is why we offer you to rent your apartment for 10 years!

What kind of properties is YOUHOMEY looking for?

We are looking for apartments and studios in Madrid, mainly between 1 and 2 bedrooms and furnished. If your apartment does not fall within these characteristics, do not worry! You can contact us here and we will assess the possibility of having your property in our portfolio.

Do I need any kind of special license?

We want to make it clear that our seasonal rental service has NOTHING to do with vacation rentals, so NO SPECIAL LICENSE IS NECESSARY, nor is it considered a tourist business. It is important to note that the seasonal rental is contemplated by the Urban Leasing Law (LAU).

How can I become a YOUHOMEY owner?

Becoming a Youhomey owner is very simple, you just have to contact us, through the Contact Form, and a YOUHOMEY commercial will be at your entire disposal to explain all the benefits and guarantees of our apartment management service. Subsequently, a visit to your property will be made to verify the information that you provide us about your apartment, in that same meeting our commercial will explain the entire process to follow and if both parties finally agree, we close the rental management contract for the time that you want. And remember No permanence!

How are bonds managed?

For each entry, a monthly payment is previously requested as a deposit, this is deposited in a special deposit account whose owner is YOUHOMEY. We take care of the management for its return, verifying the state of the property the same day that each departure occurs, to determine if the full return of the same to the client is made or if it is necessary to invest part, or all, to fix any damage that could be caused by causes directly attributable to it.

What guarantees does Youhomey offer me?

By signed contract we highlight two very important issues for your peace of mind. On the one hand, we guarantee the rent every month, whether the property is rented or not, and Youhomey will transfer the rent to you, as simple as that and without fine print.

On the other hand, we guarantee the good condition of the home against damage due to vandalism, up to €2.500, to cover what is necessary to repair or replace furniture and/or electrical appliances, in the event of vandalism. At the same time we take charge of small repairs or damages due to misuse of them. These are guarantees with all the letters!

What is the contract that I sign with YOUHOMEY like?

We have a simple, flexible contract with no fine print that allows it to be adapted to each particular case. If you have any suggestions or want to add a clause, we can review it, and as long as it is within our philosophy we will add it to the contract. Each owner has his preferences and we can adapt.

When do I receive my rent?

You will receive your rent every 10th of each month, whether the apartment is rented or not!
